In case you are missing any of my videos over on YouTube, I’m spoiling you with another I thought you would like. I decided I would do a Spring/Summer make-up tutorial, but this time using all one brand. The brand I chose was Guerlain and includes their exciting new Terracotta summer collection. Read More »
Whilst I was in Vegas I picked up a birthday treat to myself, a new designer bag in the shape of the MCM Ella bag! The minute I saw this bag I knew I had to have it.
So today I’m sharing my initial thoughts on this gorgeous bag, I hope you enjoy. Remember I don’t post all my videos here but if you head to the sidebar you can click on them over there and of course on YouTube. Make sure to subscribe not to miss any videos, click here to subscribe.
We stayed at the Cosmopolitan hotel which is located opposite Planet Hollywood, we found this to be a really central location and easy to get to everything within either walking distance or a very short taxi ride. This hotel was recommended by Virgin Holidays as part of our trip, but I really loved the look of it and I am so glad it lived up to its expectations. We even were given a room upgrade to a suite (yep, room upgrades actually happen!) which was pretty spectacular. It was bigger than my apartment in London, so you can understand the excitement. Our suite came with a fountain view and looked over the Bellagio foundations, which looked amazing at night lit up. Read More »
Not at Coachella this weekend? Don’t worry you can plan out your summer/festival wardrobe instead. With some great offers on this weekend, hello ASOS discount bonanza, it’s time to start planning your summer wardrobe.
I’ve picked out some festival inspired pieces in case you are planning a festival this year, but I think these would also work well on holiday or even on a hot summer’s day in the UK just lounging in the park.
If you follow me on Instagram you will have seen I was in Los Angeles last week. It was my first time visiting this part of America and I must say I had the best time. I absolutely loved L.A, the vibe is very chilled, I don’t think I have been anywhere, not even a beach break where I have felt as chilled out as I have in Los Angeles. The weather was glorious sunshine and with the palms blowing in the wind you can really explore at your own pace. Danny and I spent five days in L.A before heading to Vegas to celebrate my birthday, but that’s for another post.
I had asked a lot of people about L.A before I went. Many had passed on recommendations, many loved, many disliked, so I was really unsure what I would make of it myself. With some even passing comment to say that if you like New York you wouldn’t like Los Angeles. I love New York so I had my reservations. I feel that couldn’t have been more wrong, they are both very different. New York is like London on steroids and I love it for that, whereas Los Angeles is über chilled, über being the word here as we had to Uber & Lyft our way around town. We both really enjoyed our time here. Read More »
Primer, the next step after moisturiser and before foundation. So what does it do? It can do many things, hydrate skin, make foundation stay on longer and also blur imperfections and pores. I find it an essential part of my make-up kit. One of my favourite primers has got to be Guerlain L’Or Primer, it’s hydrating and it gives my face a certain radiance, although it is slightly on the more expensive scale of the make-up primers so it’s good to have a few alternatives.
Recently I tried out Smashbox Photo Finish Radiance Primer. The first thing that striked me about this primer was that it was tinted. It has a slight orangey glow to it, but when applied it doesn’t seem to have much colour at all, it sort of adapts to the skin and provides a warmth and that radiance I mentioned in the title. The primer was designed to recreate the golden-hour lighting that gives that oh so amazing look in photographs. Read More »
