Have you ever thought of buying art but firstly thought it was too expensive and secondly didn’t know where to start?
Well this week in London sees the return of the Affordable Art Fair in Battersea, where from 20th-23rd October the fair will have over 100 galleries and 1,000 artists exhibiting, with each piece priced between £100 and £5000, making buying art accessible to everyone. Exhibiting is a wide range of artists from the likes of established street artist Ben Eine, who counts Barack Obama as an owner of his work and Jann Haworth, co-creator of the Beatles’ Sergeant Pepper album cover, who will be debuting a brand new series of works at the fair. The Affordable Art Fair also supports emerging artists through its Recent Graduates’ Exhibition and curator of this years show Medeia Cohan has scoured the degree shows of the top art schools in the UK to select Britain’s most promising emerging talent for the exhibition.
