The Tate Modern has just opened up a new building, I do love a visit to the Tate and so definitely had to go and check out the new area.  The new building is entitled the Switch House has a twisted pyramid like shape and has ten levels all the way up to the top, which will house a whole array of modern art. At the top there is a viewing platform which I was excited to go up, but before all that, it was time for food.

As it was lunch, Danny and I went for a stunning tapas brunch at Camino just right opposite the Tate Modern. It was a lovely sunny day so we took a table outside on the terrace and got ready to fill our bellies with lots of lovely tapas. Camino means  ‘path’ or ‘journey’ in Spanish and it refers to owner Richard Bigg’s first road trip across Spain in a tiny black Mini. Armed with a map and a camera, he fell in love with the country, so much so that he quit his uninspiring City job as a trader and decided to continue travelling. Read More »
